He then attended 4 years of Optometry School at the University of Missouri . Some of you may know other people or doctors with the last name Massey. He usually goes on to tell them that he is the first Optometrist in the family and they are not relatives of his. While in Optometry school, he worked at one of the largest private practices in the country where the eye doctors were also the team eye doctors for the St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Blues, and University of Missouri athletes. Doctor Massie specializes in contact lenses and sports vision. He has been specially-trained and certified to fit the most complex contact lenses. He routinely prescribes contact lenses for patients with astigmatism, eye disorders/diseases, bifocals, and even vision shaping contact lenses that provide non-surgical vision correction. Doctor Massie also practices full scope eye care, including LASIK surgery care, and has the authority to write prescription medicines for conditions such as glaucoma, dry eyes, and allergies.
